Miniature Australian Shepherds are incredibly beautiful, intelligent, agile, and obedient dogs. They were originally bred in the western U.S. (despite their name) as herding dogs and quickly became a favorite among ranchers due to their quick wit and people-pleasing characteristics.

Now, a favorite household pet, they retain those quick-witted, working-dog qualities and seek a purpose.

They are quite inventive with their jobs and hobbies, ranging from herding, swimming, fetch, and being your hiking and adventure buddy! They always want to learn new things and will catch on very quickly to whatever you teach them.

Whiskeytown Aussie puppies are born and raised inside our home. We are very hands-on every step of the way. The mothers make sure that they grow strong and healthy during the first few weeks. We give additional care when needed.

They grow up in a very clean and safe environment

Our puppies learn how to interact with others by interacting with their mother, littermates and new people early and often. This helps the pups grow into outgoing, friendly, and secure dogs.

We are confident they will fulfill and surpass all our expectations in their furever homes!

All of our Whiskeytown Aussies are bred in Shingletown, California, with total care, primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we're positive our puppies will become perfect

family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

From the time our puppies are born and you take them from our homes to yours, we stay in touch, giving you pictures and details in weekly pupdates!
